ZARLITE BY ZARAH HEWITSON'S BLUE HAIRSTREAK BUTTERFLY PIERCED EARRINGS

DESCRIPTION: This lovely butterfly is named for the man who described the species in 1865, the British lepidopterist (a person who studies or collects butterflies and moths), William Chapman Hewitson. This butterfly is also known as the Magnificent Greatstreak, the Supreme Greatstreak, or the Crowned Hairstreak, and they are found from Southeastern Mexico to Ecuador. These pretty earrings are hand-enameled on silver-plate and fired in a kiln to produce an alluring richness of color.
