DESCRIPTION:  "This just might be the craftiest Erstwilder collection yet! Part of a collaboration with gifted craft author, illustrator, and collage artist, Clare Youngs, these limited-run budgie drop earrings have been hand assembled featuring brilliant blue textured and glitter resins and completed with hand painted and printed detailing, bringing Clare's work to life as wearable art! Pair it with it's matching brooch to complete the look, while stocks last" (Erstwilder).

DESIGN STORY: " Little birds don't seem to tell us anything interesting. Perhaps it's because we're not seen as trustworthy in the avian community? Have you heard anything about that" (Erstwilder)?

INFO

Original design by Clare Youngs

Height 42 mm x Width 33 mm

"Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel" (Erstwilder).

Designs come packaged in Erstwilder gift boxes.

CARE

"Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water, and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come. Please note that for any design with etched linework, particularly on mirror resins, and especially where lines curve, may have a slightly jagged or uneven appearance. This feature is due to the nature of the materials and an expected part of the process of production. Also note, mirrored acrylic cannot be polished or tumbled during the production process so it will not feature the smooth edge that you would expect on other resin pieces" (Erstwilder).
